The Volkswagen Atlas and Tiguan are a three-row and compact SUV, respectively. This means that you should naturally expect to have more room with the Atlas, as it features a total of seven seats to accommodate your guests. That said, the Tiguan does provide more than enough room for riders to be comfortable with the 40.2 inches of legroom that it features in both rows of the interior. Both of these vehicles include their own unique Climatronic® climate control system as well. The Atlas of course requires more coverage with its three-zone layout due to its size, while the Tiguan only needs a dual-zone option to keep everyone aboard the vehicle satisfied. Connectivity

The 2025 Volkswagen Atlas and 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan both use the same standard 12.9-inch touchscreen display, which is where you’ll find all your infotainment settings in one palace. The Atlas model features a standard 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with 269 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque, while the Tiguan uses a standard 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged motor that provides an equally impressive 201 horsepower and 207 lb.-ft. of torque. Each vehicle can be equipped with either standard FWD or available AWD per your preference, and an 8-speed automatic transmission is the system of choice for both SUVs. Lastly, these models share the same engine start-stop system that can reduce your gas emissions when you’re sitting at a red light by turning off the powertrain.
